Thursday the 1st of October.
I am new to blogging. I love writing but I don't seem to have the time to write. I keep all my creative writings in my head. Then after taking a nap to rest from either a full days work, or recovering from a night shift or just after cleaning the house and walking the dogs, all my literary work in my head has disappeared.
I would like to write about how I have realised so much, understood so much of life now that I am 40.
Today is a good day to start.
Today is my day off. I have ten thousand things to do, it's already 17:53 in the afternoon.
I have accomplished what I think I needed to accomplish this morning. That is the daily, waking up my little one, guide him to get ready for school, make sure he has breakfast, then bring him to school. After the school run, I normally go to the food store and get my grocery list, and today I also needed to send a parcel in the post.
As soon as I arrive home, I am greeted by my husband and my 2 gorgeous dogs. I have Cookie, a 6 year old male Shih Tzu and Queenie, 2 year old Shih Tzu. We have breakfast. My husband goes off to sleep as he is from night shift and I go and walk my lovely dogs. While walking my dogs, I line chat with my sisters who are half way around the world. That's another huge amount of story.
Back at my doorstep, I am greeted by my neighbour 4 doors to my right. He is asking if my female dog is having puppies. Unfortunately she's not. I don't think they have plans just yet.
After walkies, my household chores start. After household chores, I need to revise for my upcoming OSCEs exams. I have been putting it off and now it's near. The exam is on the 5th of  November, and I am desperately praying I have time to revise, practice as well as family and full time work in between.
Why is it when you have a big exam, you find other things to do? By the time I tell myself it's time to read I am so tired and fall asleep.
At the moment I am reading:
The Essential OSCE for Medical and Surgical Finals
The Unofficial guide to passing OSCEs
 Simply Tuesday by Emily Freeman
Stroke of Insight by Dr. Taylor
Praying God's will for your life by Stormie OMartian
Not a Fan by Kyle Idleman

This evening, there is a meeting at 7pm in school. So I will see you all again tomorrow.

  1. I'm just getting around to the different blogs. Are you still writing?
Best wishes on your testing. I know that it is pretty difficult to keep all the needs and wants balanced, but writing will help! It seems to bring a calm into the chaos.
